At Oriflame, for Cosmetics, "science-based" means more than 50 years of experience in cosmetics development, with specialised formula design and in-house exploratory scientific research. It means choosing only ingredients with excellent safety and performance records, and the most advanced and effective skincare technologies. It also means carrying out clinical and consumer studies and sensory perception tests, supported by peer-reviewed scientific literature.
For Nutrition, science-based means following international nutrition standards and the expert opinion of our Nutrition Council. It means always using the optimal dose of ingredients for proven health benefits and adapting formulas to your nutritional needs. It also means expert guidance from an independent Scientific Advisory Board and using the Nordic Diet as our inspiration - itself recognised by the World Health Organisation.
We do everything we can for your safety
We apply EU safety standards globally for all cosmetics - these are the strictest in the world and the gold standard for consumer safety. This means that wherever you live, the same safety standards apply. And we don't just fulfil the minimum requirements - we go further, restricting more than 50 ingredients that we believe could be a cause for concern.
At Nutrição, we follow EU or local safety standards - whichever is stricter - to ensure the safety of nutritional products.
