Glycolic Acid, an Alpha Hydroxy Acid, helps to boost the natural exfoliation process in the skin. Almonds are the source of one of the most soothing and nourishing ingredients in beauty products, sweet almond oil. Produced from the fruit of the almond tree, almond oil has incredible moisturising properties for the skin, hair and nails, being magnificently protective and hydrating thanks to its vitamin A, B and E content. Almonds are a multi-action ingredient in many beauty products - we also use almond shell powder in many of our cosmetics for its natural exfoliating action. 

Glycolic acid is a repairer of sun-damaged skin and an essential ingredient for brightening and evening out skin tone. As a fast and effective chemical exfoliant, it stimulates cell renewal, weakening the bonds between dead skin cells so that they slough off evenly to reveal fresh, new skin underneath. Glycolic acid is in the AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) family of exfoliating acids, along with lactic and malic acids. Being the smallest molecule of all the AHAs, it penetrates the skin easily and starts working quickly.
