Salicylic Acid 
Salicylic Acid is a form of beta hydroxy acid (BHA) and a real powerhouse blemish-fighting ingredient, which is why we’ve included it in all of our Pure Skin products. It deeply cleanses and purifies the skin by removing dead skin cells and penetrating deeper into the pores to unclog them. This combined with its antimicrobial properties creates an effective action on existing blemishes but also helps prevent new blemishes from forming. 
Soothing Complex 
To make our products kinder to the skin, we have added a Soothing Complex of Basil, Green Tea and Panthenol to our products that helps calm blemish-prone skin. 
• Panthenol – is very moisturising, soothing and helps soften the skin. It also aids in skin regeneration which makes it a powerful ingredient to help alleviate blemishes, red spots and stressed skin. 
<ul><li>Basil – Antioxidant-rich with a calming effect on the skin. Vitamin C in Basil extract helps soothe stressed skin that occurs when blemishes are forming. </li><li>Green Tea – Rich in nutrients that help soothe blemishes, protect the skin barrier and make skin feel comfortable. </li></ul>

Pure Skin has a wide range of products to target spots and blackheads and help prevent breakouts. All Pure Skin products are anti-bacterial and have detect technology combined with salicylic acid to clear away dead skin cells, limit sebum production and prevent shine.

This multi-purpose exfoliating acid is an excellent choice for glowing, smooth, firm and moisturised skin. An AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), lactic acid works by stimulating the skin to eliminate dead cells and transferring new cells to the surface. It is already present in the skin's NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), which is a whole range of substances vital for keeping the skin soft and moisturised. As a larger molecule than glycolic acid, lactic acid is generally well tolerated by most skin types.

Salicylic acid is a recognised ally in the fight against blemishes and an excellent ally for clear, healthy skin. It is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), exfoliating, smoothing and cleansing the skin of dead cells. Being oil-soluble means that salicylic acid can reach deep into the pore, cutting through sebum (oil) and clearing away pore-clogging debris that can cause blemishes to develop.
