This green citrus fruit is also appreciated in beauty, with lime extracts often used in perfumery and aromatherapy. With citric acids, lime also has astringent properties, perfect in facial care for oily skin, helping to minimise the appearance of pores. 

Salicylic acid is a recognised ally in the fight against blemishes and an excellent ally for clear, healthy skin. It is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), exfoliating, smoothing and cleansing the skin of dead cells. Being oil-soluble means that salicylic acid can reach deep into the pore, cutting through sebum (oil) and clearing away pore-clogging debris that can cause blemishes to develop.
