Almonds are the source of one of the most soothing and nourishing ingredients in beauty products, sweet almond oil. Produced from the fruit of the almond tree, almond oil has incredible moisturising properties for the skin, hair and nails, being magnificently protective and hydrating thanks to its vitamin A, B and E content. Almonds are a multi-action ingredient in many beauty products - we also use almond shell powder in many of our cosmetics for its natural exfoliating action. 

The elegant name Laminaria digitate refers to the wavy appearance of the greenish-brown algae, which resemble a hand: Lamina means 'blade' and digitus 'finger' in Latin. This algae is also known as kelp or Kombu, and can be found in cold waters, including the Swedish North Sea. A popular ingredient in traditional Japanese and Chinese cuisine, Laminaria are highly prized for their high content of trace elements and minerals, which makes them magnificently soothing and moisturising.
