Salicylic acid
Salicylic acid is a recognised ally in the fight against blemishes and an excellent ally for clear, healthy skin. It is a BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid), exfoliating, smoothing and cleansing the skin of dead cells. Being oil-soluble means that salicylic acid can reach deep into the pore, cutting through sebum (oil) and clearing away pore-clogging debris that can cause blemishes to develop.
