Lactic acid

This multi-purpose exfoliating acid is an excellent choice for glowing, smooth, firm and moisturised skin. An AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), lactic acid works by stimulating the skin to eliminate dead cells and transferring new cells to the surface. It is already present in the skin's NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor), which is a whole range of substances vital for keeping the skin soft and moisturised. As a larger molecule than glycolic acid, lactic acid is generally well tolerated by most skin types.
