Blueberries

Blueberries

Vaccinium myrtillus

Or Blåbär, as we call them in Sweden. The direct translation is 'blueberry' and although they are very similar to the North American blueberry, our incredible wild blueberries - or European Blueberries - are smaller, darker, packed with nutrients and natural antioxidants. We love our blueberries fresh, frozen and cooked into delicious desserts. These blueberries owe their sweetness and juicy flavour to their sugar content, which, combined with vitamins, makes this a moisturising skincare ingredient.

Key Benefits

  • Excellent for its antioxidant content!

  • Moisturising, thanks to its sugar and vitamin content.

  • Soothing and toning for the skin, thanks to its natural acid content.

Blueberries owe their dark blue colour to powerful compounds called polyphenols, which give blueberries their antioxidant and astringent properties.
